The December Prayer Diary focuses on Coventry East deanery.

Please find attached two versions of the Prayer Diary. The consecutive format is recommended for displaying on a computer screen, or printing for home use; the booklet format is recommended for printing a double-sided booklet.

You can also download the Prayer Diary from the diocesan website. We aim to publish it on or before the 20th day of the preceding month (although it is sometimes delayed).

Leading your Church into Growth, Swanwick - June 2018

The Leading your Church into Growth Course (LYCIG) for Urban Estate Churches will take place from the 25th - 28th June 2018 at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick.

The challenges of leading estate churches into growth is especially acute. It is often hard to grow lay leaders from such communities and churches can be under-resourced.

LYCIG has always had a reputation as a resource which is effective for urban churches. The cost per place is £299 and there is a discount of £50 if a parish sends both a lay and ordained leader.

Bardsley Youth Project Mini Restoration Needs Tools

Coventry Transport Museum donated a 1982 Mini to Bardlsey Youth Project from them to restore with the help of 6 young people from supported housing projects in the city.

They are currently setting up the workshop by building workstations, gathering tools and basically turning an empty room into a car garage. For this we have a small budget so are looking for donations of tools such as spanners, wrenches and any other equipment they can find.

If you have some unused tools that you would like to see put to good use please contact Simon Rée by calling 07943 688 760 or email him using the link below.
