Evangelisches Stift are looking to visit churches

The Evangelisches Stift in Tuebingen, Germany is looking to arrange a visit to Coventry diocese to give organ solo concerts or musical concert with choirs. These could be either standalone benefit concerts, or could take place in context of a church service.

The Ev. Stift is a house for theology students in Wuerttemburg, Germany, and has a long musical tradition. Recent performances have included Bach's motets.

The music director, Frank Oidtmann, is happy to discuss organ or musical options. If any parishes in the diocese are interested in a tour visit, please contact frank.oidtmann@evstift.de and/or adamtrettel@gmail.com

As part of our Serving Christ programme, we are currently recruiting a full time Learning Mentor with a focus on Effective Structures.

Please forward this article to anyone who might be interested (lay or ordained).

Puppet Training Workshops run by Thrive

On Monday 29 January, Thrive are running puppet training events at St Paul's Church, Warwick. They will be running two back to back sessions (5pm & 7:30pm) so you can bring younger members of your team (minimum age 8 years).

Puppetry is a great way to present the gospel. It can be used in a fun way for outreach and also as powerful and moving performances that touch your audience. They will be looking at how to enhance your puppet performance by covering the five basic steps of puppetry, mastering arm rod technique and puppetry manipulation. No previous experience needed nor do you need your own puppet. Find out more and book online.
