Ascension Day this year is also the 55th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral, and we will be marking this with an ecumenical service at 7.30pm with His Grace, Archbishop Bernard Longley of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. This will be an important occasion in the marking of the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation, too.

The service will begin in the ruins of the old Cathedral of St Michael, to continue in the Nave of the new Cathedral and then conclude in the ruins of St Mary's Priory, Coventry's 'first' Cathedral (to the north of Holy Trinity Church).

All our welcome to come and celebrate Ascension on the 25th May at 7.30pm.
