Headteacher Conference

Thank you to Joanne and the team for the amazing organisation which led to a very successful Headteacher conference.  The conference focused on ‘Inspiring Wisdom’ and enjoyed some high quality input and fellowship.

  • Dunnington CofE Primary was judged as ‘Good’ following the recent SIAMS inspection.  The inspector noted that, ‘Effective strategies, underpinned by Christian values, empower pupils to be confident, to respect and care for others, to share their opinions and to grow as responsible citizens of the future.’
  • Wolvey CofE Primary - was also judged as ‘Good’ following its recent SIAMS inspection.  A particularly lovely comment from the report is as follows, ‘The close partnership between headteacher and her deputy and the strong sense of team unites the school in a shared purpose to live out the Christian vision and values in their daily lives.’
  • Congratulations to staff, governors and pupils at Bournebrook CofE Primary for achieving ‘Outstanding’ in their recent SIAMS inspection.  The inspector writes, ‘Inspirational and stable leadership by the headteacher who is motivated by her own personal faith is instrumental in sustaining a distinctively Christian school that is inclusive, welcoming and harmonious.  Embedded Christian values are seen particularly in the pupils’ behaviour and their relationships with each other, which ultimately enhance all pupils’ learning.  The exemplary work of the vicar enhances both pupils’ and staff attitudes to faith and to their spiritual journey.’
  • Knightlow CofE Primary will have a SIAMS inspection on Tuesday 14 November.
