On Saturday 10th March there will be a day conference hosted by St Mary's, Lutterworth and New Wine Networks.

The speakers will be John and Anne Coles who will deliver teaching about prophetic ministry.

 Charlecote Quiet Garden Launched

The old vicarage garden in Charlecote has recently become a member of the Quiet Garden Movement.

In 2018 Charlecote Quiet Garden will be offering monthly guided retreat days, and a space (indoors as well as outside) for individuals and groups to come away and rest a while. Each guided day will include contemplative prayer, silence, conversation and creativity.

 Regional Commendation for St John the Baptist, Hillmorton

Steve Gold, Curate at St John the Baptist in Hillmorton, Rugby has been highly commended in the Barnardo's Marsh Trust Awards for the Midlands & South West.

The award reflects the willingness of the Church of St John the Baptist, Hillmorton to engage in community activities and the positive impact that these have in the local area.

The Church runs parent and toddler groups, messy church, a mid-week children's club called Explore, a job club and is actively involved in the wider Rugby Hope 4 Night Shelter, Street Pastors, Food Bank and CAP initiatives.

The Diocese of Coventry is seeking to appoint two part time Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Advisers to support safeguarding provision in the Diocese through expertise, advice, guidance, oversight and training.

Based in Coventry, the Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Advisers will be responsible, as part of the Safeguarding Team for undertaking casework, providing advice and guidance in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults to parishes and clergy and delivering safeguarding training.
