 Christmas Fayre, St John the Baptist - 2 December

St John the Baptist Church in Coventry will be holding their Christmas Fayre on Saturday December 2 from 10am until 2pm in the church.

There will be many stalls selling jams, cakes, preserves, gifts, books and artefacts made in Palestine.

There will be entertainment with Zenith Harmony coming to sing, and the University of Warwick Brass society sending members to play.

Santa Claus will be there with two little helpers and refreshments will be available in the hall.

 Celebration of the Conception of the Blessed Virgin

At St Leonard's Church, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, they celebrate the Feast Day of the Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a service of Holy Communion. Members of Ryton Choir and of Guest choir "Musica Sacra" will be providing some appropriate music, and this service will be Anglo-Catholic in style, with a procession and incense.

All are invited to stay after the service and enjoy wine/ Buck's Fizz, cheese scones and other refreshments.

 Leamington Hastings Christmas Market - 18 November

There will be a Christmas Market in All Saints Church Leamington Hastings on Saturday 18th November from 10.30AM to 2.30PM. A cafe with light lunches will be available.

 Icon Painting Course

Revd Ian Holdsworth is holding an Icon Painting Course at St Andrew's Church, Rugby on 5 consecutive Saturdays from 10am till 5pm starting on January 27.

This will be a spiritual experience using traditional methods. No previous experience is necessary and everyone taking part is guaranteed to take away a pleasing icon at the end of the course.

 Christmas Tree Festival - Warwick, St Mary

The Collegiate Church of St Mary in Warwick is the beautiful setting for the annual Christmas Tree Festival, which opens on Warwick Town Victorian evening, Thursday 30 November and continues until Sunday 10 December 2017.

Visitors can vote for their favourite Christmas tree and be entered in the prize draw. Admission on Victorian Evening is 50p per adult. Children are free. There will be Entertainment to include a variety of music, including the ever popular Hand Bell ringing demonstration, mulled wine and mince pies.
