 Bardsley's Big Sofa Surf

Bardsley Youth Project works with homeless young people age 16-25 in Coventry. They help the young person to get somewhere to live, equip it and keep it. They are running a social media campaign starting 12 July to highlight the issue of 'sofa surfing'. Around 90% of the young people they first meet are 'sofa surfing' - sleeping on sofas with friends or relatives.

Their idea is to get a blow up sofa into as many places in Coventry as they can. They have thought of nearly 60 so far from landmarks to wacky places where you wouldn't expect a sofa to be. For more information please follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
