 Pathway Mentoring Training Opportunity

Train to be a Pathway Mentor. Find out how you could join the Pathway mentoring team and help addicts break free from their past, get stable and begin to achieve their potential. This is a two day training course covering many of the skills you need to be a good mentor. Part 1 - Saturday 10 November 2018, Part 2 - Saturday 24 November 2018 both from 10am till 3pm at St Mary’s Church, Leamington Spa.

The training will be presented by Carole Milligan, director of Kings Compass, The Christian Coach Academy. This training is free with lunch and refreshments provided. To book a place email Sue by clicking the link below.

 St Petersburg Choir at St Peter's Dunchurch

The Voskresenije Choir of St Petersburg will perform at St Peter's Church, Dunchurch on Tuesday 23 October at 7:30pm. The choir is in the middle of a UK tour and will be singing Russian sacred music and traditional folk music.

 Ansley Church's 13th Christmas Tree Festival

This event, much enjoyed by all ages, takes place in Ansley church (CV10 0QR) during the three weekends leading up to Christmas, commencing Saturday 8 December. Saturdays 11am-5pm. Sundays 12pm-6pm. Entrance is £2 for adults and free for accompanied children.

With 60 trees around the church, all decorated by local organisations, groups or individuals, as well as other Christmas items suspended from the arches all adds to atmosphere. With a prayer tree and remembrance tree, giving time for reflection as well as the crib scenes to remind visitors of the gift to mankind of the baby Jesus.

 All Saints, Emscote Supporting Community Arts

B'Opera - Sing a Rainbow, 'A magical, colourful and interactive musical journey for babies, toddlers and their grown ups' is coming to All Saints Emscote, Warwick on 24 October at 10:30am and lasts 40 mins. Then there's time for play, chat and refreshments.

B'Opera, a company of 3 professional musicians, has recently held sessions at Birmingham Hippodrome and St George's Church Edgbaston.

Tickets are £10 for 1 grown up and 2 little ones. Book through All Saints Church Office, from Mon-Thurs, 9:30am - 12:30pm by calling 01926 492 073.

 Concert in Aid of MACS - 20 October

As part of their "Music With Friends" series, St Mary and All Saints Church, Fillongley are hosting a concert in aid of Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia and Coloboma Support (MACS), a small charity supporting people with no eyes or with underdeveloped eyes.

It will take place on Saturday 20 October starting at 7:30pm and feature music by Tallis, Byrd, Lassus, Phillips, De Kerle, Morago and others. Tickets are free on the door, but donations are encouraged. There is also a Just Giving page for those who wish to make a donation but are not able to go to the concert.
