 Coventry Pilgrimage 2018 Walk 5 - 28 July

Everyone is welcome on Saturday 28 July at 10am for all or part of the fifth walk of the Coventry Pilgrimage 2018. Walkers will meet at St John the Baptist, Brinklow, Broad Street, CV23 0LR and will walk 4.3 miles to St James, Ansty, Main Road, CV7 9HZ.

 Music Event - Cross of Nails - 24 June - Shipston

Preparations are well under way for the diocesan Celebration of Reconciliation taking place in St Edmund’s Church, Shipston-on-Stour CV36 4AP on Sunday 24th June at 5 pm. This 1 hour concert will feature a new choral work, ‘Cross of Nails’, written by local composer Andrew Atkins. The concert involves pupils from Brailes, Ilmington and Shipston-on-Stour primary schools, as well as community and church choirs from South Warwickshire.

 How to offer a Labyrinth Day Retreat for schools

Veriditas trained labyrinth facilitator, Rev Ali Massey is offering a day course at Bourton and Frankton Village Hall to share her experience of using the labyrinth to facilitate retreat days for Year 6 pupils before their transition to secondary education. This course is designed for clergy or foundation governors who would like to offer a reflective yet practical retreat day for their local school.

It takes place on Wednesday 25 July 10am - 3pm at Bourton and Frankton Village Hall. £20 to include refreshments and a light lunch. For further details see the attached poster or contact Ali on 01788 814912 or email her using the link below.

 City Praise and Prayer - 11 November 2018

City Praise and Prayer is a bi-annual event which draws churches together across Coventry to worship together and to pray with one voice for the Kingdom of God to come in our city. This is very much a ‘combined churches’ event organised and led by various church leaders but to date CLM has played a key role in the organisation of the evenings and they have been privileged to be the host venue.

The next City Praise and Prayer is scheduled for the evening of Sunday 11 November 2018.
