 BCDM Modules in April and May

There are three BCDM modules starting in April and May held in Warwick, Shipston-on-Stour and Coventry.

-Encountering God: Spirituality (Coventry), a module to help you experience more of God's presence in your life;
- Jesus and the Gospels (Warwick) - a module to enable you to learn a more about Jesus through the unique ways each Gospel presents him;
- Introducing Christian Ethics (Shipston) - a module to help you think about how we should live, respond to issues and engage with the world.

 BCDM Celebration Event

We are holding a celebration event of BCDM on Sunday 24th March, from 3-5pm, including a guest speaker from the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity and the Bishop of Coventry.
The theme will be ‘Why theology matters for discipleship: Growing and learning throughout life.’

We are inviting anyone who has ever participated in a BCDM module or wants to in the future to come and we hope it will be a great event celebrating Christian learning.

 Lay Retreat Grants

The Lay Retreat Grant is available to all non-licenced communicant members of the Anglican churches in the Diocese of Coventry. Each person is permitted a grant of up to £120 per year.

We hope this will give you the means to withdraw from the busyness of daily life, listen to and encounter God.

 Women and Leadership Course 2019-20

This course is aimed at those in Christian ministry keen to develop and enrich their leadership skills and increase their knowledge of recent theological scholarship and learning around gender and leadership.
This is an opportunity for stimulating, challenging and enriching postgraduate study at The Queen's Foundation, Birmingham. You will work with skilled and expert theologians and practitioners towards a Post-Graduate Certificate in Theology and Transformative Practice.

 New BCDM modules starting February/March

There are three BCDM modules starting in January held in Nuneaton and Coventry:
- Paul's Life, Mission and Letters (Coventry), a module to help you dig deeper into Paul's life and thought;
- Needs-based Evangelism (Nuneaton) - a brand new module designed to equip you with confidence and skills for evangelism;
- Prayer (Eastern Green) - an interactive module which will help refresh and reinvigorate your prayer life, giving you new ways to pray.
