St Clare's at the Cathedral opens
04/10/17

Back in February we announced that a new church community would be coming to Coventry Cathedral in the Autumn. We are now pleased to say that St Clare’s at the Cathedral officially opened its doors at the beginning of September.

St Clare’s is a small and friendly church community that offers a home to the spiritually seeking, to those who have wandered away from God, to those who never knew him and to those who have lost their faith in the church. Its values are, being simple, generous and open. St Clare’s is run by the Reverends Charlotte Gale and Naomi Nixon, two experienced priests in the diocese.

During the week (Tuesday - Saturday), St Clare’s runs a shop, the proceeds of which go to support the ministry of the church. Everyone is welcome to come in and browse the shop and hopefully find something to buy! The shop currently sells second hand books (with a very large theology section), a range of gifts for all occasions, handmade cards and prints as well as church supplies such as baptism certificates, christening cards and clerical collars. With Christmas fast approaching the St Clare’s shop is the perfect place to purchase unique and ethical gifts.

St Clare’s at the Cathedral is based in the building between the old and new Cathedrals. To find out more call into the shop or email Charlotte and Naomi at StClares@CoventryCathedral.org.uk.
