Pilgrimage to Coventry Cathedral
Coventry Cathedral

The British Pilgrimage Trust have published a one day pilgrimage to Coventry Cathedral on their website.

The route is 9.6 miles and takes you from Fillongley Church to Coventry Cathedral. The rural route passes through the River Sherbourne valley, via Allesley church, St Johns Coventry and Holy Trinity Coventry ending at Coventry Cathedral. It is the last part of the 47 mile Coventry Pilgrimage route, established in 2012, circling the city starting at Meriden church, using the Coventry Way.

Part of this route will be used for the final Coventry Pilgrimage 2018 walk. Throughout the year a group led by John and Margaret Lloyd have been walking the Coventry Way on the last Saturday morning of each month. On November 24th, they will walk from All Saints, Allesley to Coventry Cathedral. The Bishop of Coventry will join the group for the walk which will end with a short service at Coventry Cathedral to end the pilgrimage. Everyone is welcome to join the pilgrimage. Find out more at
