New Intern to the Bishop of Coventry
Amy Taylor, Intern to the Bishop of Coventry

Amy Taylor has taken up her post as the the new Intern to the Bishop of Coventry. Amy has recently moved to Coventry and will work alongside Joe Couves as part of the team that provides direct support to the Bishop's ministry.

Bishop Christopher has had an Intern Scheme since 2010.  Benjamin Kirby and Charlie Annis were in post for two years, and they were followed by Orion Edgar and Joe Couves.  Orion Edgar has now moved on from Bishop's House after a year as Bishop's Intern.  Bishop Christopher said,

"I've really enjoyed working with Orion who gave a lot to the life of the Diocese in several different ways.  Amy Taylor has succeeded Orion, and I am sure you will get to know her as time goes on."

Amy has come to Coventry after five years in Oxford, where she studied first for a BA in Philosophy and Theology and subsequently for an MPhil in Philosophical Theology.  She said:

"I was born and grew up in Birmingham, so I am familiar with the area and glad to be returning to the Midlands.  I have a strong interest in the role of religion in public life and I am very much looking forward to working for Bishop Christopher."
